amapi crashed and now half of my model it missing - Polyloop

hi

i selected a boolean operation on now a fairly compex object and amapi ran into no where so i force quite it and now half of my model is missing but the file size is 4.6 MB. so it should be somewhere.

any help?

We have an issue in 7.1 about this, solved in Amapi 7.15
Can you email me your file ? (if you haven use the rar format to compress it), I'll check it
Finaly, when you have some problems, post a snapshot ;)

ok i will send it to you via email.

i use mac os x so i will use stuff it to compress it.
the expander is free to dl in case you dont have it.

edit: darn i deleted ll amapi files already.

i am just moving out right now.
in two weeks i am leaving germany and i will stay
two years at my new university. there i will get my
mac soon so i can restart testing and rebuilding.

but i think if they have already a new updater for
pro the trial is outdated for testing. but i can try rebuilding
the model if you wish.

i was already talking to my master prof. about
3d and metal smithing using amapi.
let me see what i can do.
