Why is every new version of Amapi so filled with bugs?

I've tried Amapi 7 Pro now, and every time I try to make a fillet between two surfaces (as in the drill tutorial), the program just freezes and I have to kill it. It was just the same with Amapi Designer--several bugs that just crashed the program. All other modelling programs I've tried have worked just fine, from Bryce to Cinema4D. Are they bad at testing or is it just bad programming? :x I will NOT buy the program unless they sort out these bugs.

Just a short question : apply a chamfer on a polygon surface or on a NURBS surface ? and what CPU and RAM do you have...?

If you have some exemple, it will be helpfull...

Yes to both questions.

By the way, Amapi Pro 7.5 fixed a lot more of the fillet bugs than 7.15 or 7.16 did. But now the big red "-" is missing for times when there is an actual fillet problem that can be fixed by the user. So it's harder to see now where the fillet problem in the object is.

Humpf...
Which version of Amapi Pro do you use ? 7.1 or 7.15 ?
Then, in which case your filet dosn't work ? You must have to know that not ALL chamfer cannot work in all the NURBS softwares.. and you must have clean surfaces, and NURBS are not like polygons.
I don't say that Amapi don't have any bugs or never crash, but, when you know what you do, it works a lot better...

At last, try to make some NURBS filet in C4D or Bryce.. (remember that C4D do HyperNURBS (as Amapi, Maya, Carrara, Max, etc... do...) and not NURBS...
