To betatester and Maters´s Amapi Pro

Only a comments,

1-A weeks ago ,pixologic hit again with the powerfull zbrush 2
NOW you can see a pdf 22 megas with tutos, and ways to work with....
Maya, lightwave 3dmax and Softimage.

2-Silo hits the market with version 1.2---------in the site you can see information about silo and all the main 3d software.

3.-Rhino makes their engine render....meanwhile....created plugins to use with other software.

4.-wings 3d----no comment with lightwave PERFECT and animation master
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I love amapi pro is powerfull ,easy, you can use polygons, nurbs, i see yesterday the Tomas Rousell video tuto about model with image references...Fantastic.....but please i want model in amapi and animate or render in other software...yes i know its too soon ,the product go to the market only a weeks ago. but i ask to amapi´s tester to share your knownoledge about the test in export or export file....THIS ONLY WILL MAKE MORE POWERFULL THIS GREAT SOFTWARE.Yes i know to get a powerfull nurbs tools, which works with other 3d tool which not use nurbs (lightwave)it must be a little complicated

Thanks again and excuseme .i just want can use amapi pro(the first to mixed the tecnics and artist force) in others program.

Thanks again
Roger

I bought Zbrush 2 weeks ago

About your comment : yes, I know, we have to share... And it's a thing I want to do... but I have a job, a wife, friends, and Amapi.net version 2 in developpment... It take me a lot of time and I do what I can do. I can only tell you that Eovia is moving forward such requests, and soon, a lot of informations about Amapi Pro will be online (35 pages of FAQs if I'm not wrong)
But I'm not an Eovia member, and I post all my stuff on my free time... I have a turorial DVD in progress, more video for the website, but not enough time...
I'm sorry about that.. it's not easy as you think ;) (Eovia is reading us, then, well, perhaps they will ear you ;))

Totyo,i will be the second person who will buy a dvd for sure! ;)

I cannot awnser for futur plugins, but the new philosophy is less supported file format in export, but better quality.
The obj is the perfect illustration, keep name, uv, material, … and can be read in all major applications. (look zbrush use it, and they need to import and export the file, because 99 % use another modelor or render apps. And obj is perfect for that king of work.
Remember the lwo file support was really poor in old version.

I think Amapi must keep this philosohy. Obj for polygonal, iges for Nurbs and dwg file format for the architect.

Now, it's time to says what do you want to know about amapi for new tutorial. I will have 4 days of holydays newt week, and if i can help …

I've see some of you have experiment trouble in export, in tesselation (Nurbs crack free / adaptative, …).

MAX
MAYA
LIGHTWAVE
SOFTIMAGE/XSI
BLENDER
HOUDINI
A:M
.....
EXCUSEME IF I FORGET SOMEONE;)...Really i would like to see the way to add the power like nurbs modeller and poligon amapi to some of above 3d tools(WELL I WOULD LIKE TO SEE WITH LIGHTWAVE BUT OTHER PERSON WILL USE OTHERS)
thanks again Hugo.(if you has a contact with eovia;) it will be good to see a 23 megas pdf about the power of amapi with the render and animate tools of other 3d tools)

I looked at Silo. I'm more than happy with Amapi 7 Pro's interface and modeling tools. I'll probably be using it for the next five years.
