Take a look at the "Line draw" tool. It will open a plaet with many option for draw spline.
it look like this :

Ruled surfaces, coons, all this tool work with spline.
Take a look to the manual for more info.

hi Roger.

yes you need to use the draw tool to create splines or polylines (same thing ;) )

heres a pic: spline a is the intropelated curve option

spline b is the circle option

you can use ruled surface , gordons , hull or coons tools with polylines, or you can sweep and double sweep.

i just cant wait to get my hands on the manifold tool

Juste something to add : Amapi don't have true splines with Bezier control systems as Illustrator have.. then, if you are looking for a patch modeling, it's impossible in Amapi.
It's a kind of modeling I allready requested to the Eovia Dev Team with the edge modeling

Can we have the url of your tutorial ?

Is this what you mean by patch modeling? See http://avl.etsu.edu/intranet/resourc...ite/patch2.htm

I watched the video in fast mode, and it's a patchmodeling, yes... You can model this kind of dragon really much faster in polygons in Amapi with the surfaces tools. I'll try to make a video tutorial tonight ;)

I'm using the same tools to make the Drone 3D model that Amapi Designer 7.1 has.
