| Always learning new stuff ![]() | [Amapi]Videos of Amapi Pro
Here is a sample of videos about Amapi pro and how it works. Sorry, the tips (small and short ones) are in french, but they're not needed to understand ;) More to come ! (Manifold, curve projections on a volume or surface, error messages, etc..) The movies are encoded in Divx 5.11 (codec available here! : http://www.divx.com or us the VLC video player (a must have !) : http://www.videolan.org)) everything compressed in RAR. - Boolean operations, chamfer and dynamic geometry - 2:56- Variable chamfer

Totyo, I downloaded your movie tute for chamfering the spheres. I finally got that function to work, but it seems like there are a lot of limitations on the size of the chamfer in relation to the spheres. Do you have any insight into how to get a feel for these limits? Thanks, Patrick Tuten |

two thing to know for the chamfers to work : -The selection : before apply your chamfer, select all the edge where you want to apply your chamfer or you will get an error. -Take care of the radius : if the limit of the chamfer can overlap an end of surface (the yellow edges), you will get an error to. Their is no way to overlap a chamfer to this kind of edges. Sorry, the NURBS are not as easy as polygons |
