Videos of Amapi Pro

Here is a sample of videos about Amapi pro and how it works. Sorry, the tips (small and short ones) are in french, but they're not needed to understand ;)

More to come ! (Manifold, curve projections on a volume or surface, error messages, etc..)

The movies are encoded in Divx 5.11 (codec available here! : http://www.divx.com or us the VLC video player (a must have !) : http://www.videolan.org)) everything compressed in RAR.

- Boolean operations, chamfer and dynamic geometry - 2:56- Variable chamfer - Cut on surfaces and dynamic geometry from composed curves - 2:25- Double sweep and dynamic weld - 1:23

Hello, are these videos different from the viewlet tutorials on Eovia's website?

My first post here, hope to see much more happening in the future.

Thanks for the English version.

Yes, they are totaly differents. They're not tutorials, only demonstrations of differents features

Totyo, I downloaded your movie tute for chamfering the spheres. I finally got that function to work, but it seems like there are a lot of limitations on the size of the chamfer in relation to the spheres. Do you have any insight into how to get a feel for these limits?

Thanks, Patrick Tuten

two thing to know for the chamfers to work :
-The selection : before apply your chamfer, select all the edge where you want to apply your chamfer or you will get an error.
-Take care of the radius : if the limit of the chamfer can overlap an end of surface (the yellow edges), you will get an error to. Their is no way to overlap a chamfer to this kind of edges.

Sorry, the NURBS are not as easy as polygons
