W00t Hexagon Paint Brush

I need help with using Hexagon's paint brush. I can't get it to work. I see the red circle but it doesn't paint. It has crashed a couple of times on me when I tried to use it. I want to paint/texture a model without making it a solid color. Thanks for your help.

Haven't used the paint feature in Hex much but do need to define a texture map?

If you use the "material" box on the left side of Hex you can make your object a solid color. I want to use the "Paint Tool-Brush Tool". On the right side box it lets you select the type of texture to add to my object where I want it.

Well, I'm sorry but I can't get this to work. Make a sphere, assign texture, pick paint tool and ...... crash!

I'm sorry I can't help you with this.

Blink

I downloaded the UV file listed here but haven't gotten through it.
I was having problems with Hex shutting down when I went to use the brush/paint tools but then I found there is an update. It's in the "demo" version on the DAZ site but it installs on your computer as an update if you already have Hex installed. So far it hasn't crashed.
Looks like I have a bit of work to do.
