I think anyone who has page-down working definitely needs to contact Daz as it's obviously a bug.

made me laugh.

Sad to say Ive also installed Hex 2.5 on my desktop, (xp dual screen 7900X2) and the pgdn doesnt work on that. I had deinstalled 2.2 on that machine. wtf? Ill investigate the differences between that and the setup on my laptop and post if I can ferret out a reason. I notice I cant get the pg dn shortcut key to stick in the shortcut editor each time I restart the desktop but my other shortcut preferences do (eg B for Bridge)

I give up, Ive tried every combination of install and uninstall to try and reproduce my lap top but its not working. Even tried another laptop but not working there either. Guess its back to 2.2 on these machines (too bad anyway I cant really see any difference except for the secondlife stuff Ill never use )

I agree to everything you said, but why Hex 2.1 and not 2.2?
How 2.1 is better than 2.2 for you?

for some people hex 2.1 seems to be more stable than the 2.2. Even other one downgraded to hexagon1 for stability reasons. But there you're lacking some nice tools IMHO.

Well, the page down thing doesn't really bother me because I don't use it. I just use the smoothing levels in the properties tab, because I usually have a Snickers bar or a soda in my left hand.

the old left hand snickers bar trick huh , how do you do that? personally Im usually clutching on for dear life to the cntl, alt or shift key.

Seriously, although like you I use the smoothing levels in the propetries tab, I believe there are some hardened souls out there who use the immersive mode and the page up/down is kind of integral to their workflow
