| Always learning new stuff ![]() | [Others]traditional - first sculpting in clay! As we say in french, "Pouet" ! (hello )I ve been starting a sculpting training for 3 weeks now. It's been a long time that I wanted to do that and I had the opportunity, and OMG, it's damn cool the clay! I did some wood and stone sculpting a long time ago and this is totally different! This is my first try. A lot of mistakes, but i'm pretty happy with the result. My only regret.. no automatic symetry ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Extrusion ![]() | Great work, Thomas! Must be fun to be able to mold the clay the way you want to - but I could imagine that you do miss the Ctrl-Z key! (I do when I get to play with paint sometimes....). Is this model one big clump of clay? Or do you start with a base from a different material and add then the layers of clay? (Seems otherwise that it would be very, very heavy!). BTW, nobody has a perfect symmetric face.... Have fun! Jacqueline ![]() |
