The control lines disappear partly or can't be selected

Hi,

Using the Extrude Line Tool on a base of a circle and a profile drawn with the Curve Tool to make this vase.
According to the instructions, I should be able to edit the profile to adjust the form - but I keep having problems trying to select the profile.
Sometimes the profile is hidden in the mesh itself.

How do I make this better visible, thus better selectable?

Which tool should I use to adjust the profile? Thought that in the manual video it was just the Line or Vertice select tool being used.

DG is on Full.

See the attachments for what I have on the screen (and here, for some reason I could see the profile much better than the other experiments from me).

Well, found out that it helps to turn Transparency on..... Duhhhhhh

Feeling a bit stupid here - or are there more solutions and/or explanations?

Please, enable the "activate the transparent display of the sub-selection" button. (down the screen)
edit : no there is no further explanation

But there is a tweak, you can also select the whole profile curve, and offset it appart, then see and enjoy .
The profile curve doesn't need to touch the resulting mesh

Aha, that was happening last night - thought is was the late hour....

So it does not matter if the profile is offset apart? Hmm, a bit strange - thought it was a bug. But hey, if it works.... it works....

To freely move the profile points around, you can use the Tweak tool (Q) or the Stretch tool (first icon on left under Utilities tab) . For some reason, I have better luck with the Tweak tool than the Stretch tool. Have fun
