How do you model?

Hi,

Do you have any box modeling tutorials?
any links?

Do you model first with boxes and then hit smooth, or you start with smooth and work that way?

I don't do a lot of modeling, but when I do I start with a box and work from there. I smooth to see what it will look like then go back and work with the unsmoothed. I'll sub-divide as necessary to get more polygons.

Here's a couple of tutorials from Glen Southern that I found useful:

im currently working on a box modeling tutorial for a female figure, hopefully itll be finished over the holiday.

no its not finished yet Tod it underwent several revises regarding topology and speed and im still working on the audio.
