Warning [Zbrush]ZBRUSH 3 - GREAT START-UP TUTORIALS

Very cool!
Basic from the ground up ZBrush 3 tutorials at this site... small size camtasia vids... extremely well done and instructive.

Thanks, but there are many others here who can do Zbrush... It will be a very long time before I can show anything... even then, I couldn't compare with the giants in the 4-um.

I'm taking little baby steps in ZBrush.. wee, tiny ones.
Their documentation is not keeping up with their updates, so it is a bit confusing.
I like the feel and the stuff the pros are doing with it.
I feel like I just bit a huge giant on the ankle.

Congrats, Nate - with your talent, I think you'll start showing WIPs almost immediately!

Thanks... but it's embarassingly slow and simple.
I just managed to get a rough displacement to work in Carrara, thanks to Thomas' tutorial that he did long ago... it still works.
Encouraging - a first tiny step on my Z-journey.

Warning

I'm thinking you're going to have a blast with just the 2.5d?

ZB is EXCELLENT for illustrations which is what you master - I'd say see what ZB can do for you from that aspect before you try to render displaced models and such...
