Object Will not move

As shown in the pics i cant get minute movements to occur only incremental movements how do i get h2.2 to do this?

hi Tod,
turn of the snap to grid bud
its the magnet/grid icon on the bottom toolbar ninth icon from the left.
hope this helps.
you can also disable snap in the display drop down menu

Thanks Stu worked great this setting was probably what was throwing off the copy to mirror tool too(i couldnt figure why that was off alignment either)
some people like me probably shouldnt play with advanced software or kinetic energy weapons either(hmmm i wonder what that button does....?)

no worries Tod , i tend to run with snap disabled, i use snap align or lay on from the utilities tab for accurate positioning.
or shift for lines/poly creation.

for the record bud No kinetic energy weapons allowed in the forums

Im used to Anim8or's snap to center which i really like about that ware
but yeah that was a great tip :D
Heres the project so far,i'll do the motor separately

you can also use shift for snap to centre, make sure object is selected and select the little green dot at the centre of object and drag to another object then hit shift, dont release the mouse button, itll snap to centre.
