I think I will uninstall it for good

Hex that is, It is crashing on me more than before. It is not stable. Time to move on. Why no one believes me?

It is a bitter separation but i have to do it.

Hiya.

I hear all this talk about Hexagon being so unstable...honestly, it's pretty damn stable for me. I use it just about every day, and I think I might get one crash every two weeks or so. Am I just lucky or what?

Heart Hex is a keeper!

Don't toss the Hex, wonderful wabbit!
2.2 is a lot smoother... I haven't tried everything yet, but even Ambient Occlusion works. It is behaving good for me.

You can go to "Tiger Direct" a discount computer outfit in the states (I think they sell to y'all yankees)... get a barebones system and build what you want... it's not hard and you get what you want instead of what some salesdude has to peddle. That's what I did... if the tech stuff stumps you get some computer jock in your neighborhood to do it for you. You will be able to do a lot more than just run Hex, so it isn't like building a system for one software. --- Some friendly advice... many 3d programs do not apparently make their goodies for macks. ---

My specs....

I have had pretty good luck with Hex (1 and 2) but have had some crashes too. One thing I have learned is that when I have done one or two things that didn't work (results were not what I expected) it is a good idea to shut down and start over. Save first of course and often! I always save as Name01.hxn, Name02.hxn so you can back up if you get a corrupt file.

In MY experience the more you know about a program and modeling the fewer crashes you will encounter. It's just part of learning 3D. When I started with Hex it crashed all the time. I'm just glad I don't work to a schedule!

Oh, you are so nice to wabbit, thanks
I will take nates advice and look into getting some new upgrades including my graphic card. It brings tears to my wabbit eyes to leave you all, so I will do my best to get this piece of S*&% going.
Just kidding.

Oh no, Okay I try to stay around. I got to save some cash to buy a new card, but if hex still crashes on me after that then I will never ever ever again work with it.
