Hex installer not working - Polyloop

I unzipped the installer (Mac, OS 10.4.9) and the app has no icon and is not being recognized as an application. I get a message asking what application I want to use to open the file.

Help.

Are you sure you got the Mac version? it is a .sit file, not a zip file.
it worked fine for me on 10.4.9

it should unstuff a folder called "Hexagon22Mac"
there should be and installer and a folder and a few read me files in that folder

maybe the file got corrupt while downloading???

The win version is not a zip file, it's an exe

Hmm? Wish I could help...sounds like a corrupt file

here is what I got.

it's just a plain old VISE installer application

Looks like my folder, except that the installer has no icon. I've tried it three times on two different machines. I'm flummoxed.

Hey I have the SAME problem. My installer looks like a generic icon and it asks what application to open it. Bummer.

..OK, tried to download twice. This is what I have. It says undater and NOT installer.

...OK, I got this from the DAZ site. It worked and I have the correct 'updater' icon. Now I just need to make sure if I should do it or not.

DUH. My version of Stuffit Expander was out of date and didn't unarchive the SITX file correctly. Picked up the latest for free, and all is well.
