Sadot, symmetry goes bad if you have coplanar facets and or unmerged equal points. Take out the dg and merge all equal points and make sure you have no coplanar facets and symmetry should work fine.

Let me know how it goes, because I was interested in this too.
Only other thing is seams for me and I still don't see it fixed.

Can't get to the download.

I think it is just great to see the movement on this super modeling application. Hope it gives Hexagon a little needed boost. It may not be perfect but it is a start.

Thanks DAZ,
Stan

Just go to the "Purchase Hexagon" page:
http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/shop/catmain/-/?cat=339
($2 for Platimum members, about $100 for others)
and buy it.

Still not too stable. However...

Thomas, there is no free download offer for existing customers (and even employers ;).
I have not too many licences, but at least I have one for v2.1. Even so I had to pay $2. I got an invitation e-mail directly from DAZ - only discount offer, no free download (yet?).

I got my Hex 1 from Eovia, Hex 2 from DAZ and it downloaded fine, just took a long time, almost 10 minutes. I think too much traffic on the site.

Sadot, the ears have a nasty bit of topology in the center where all those lines converge at a single point, like the top of a sphere. Symmetry will never behave well unless your model is in good shape to begin with. Took me a while to realize this myself.

For a list of bugs and information you need to go to the DAZ Hexagon forum thread.

http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php...f132cfe#889598

Look at Steve Kondris posts.

Thanks.

Hi, I previously purchased Hexagon from Daz directly. If you are a Daz member you can go to your account and if you purchased from daz you goto Itemized Order History and go to Hexagon 2.1 and reset it so you can download it anew. when you do this you will get 2 things you will get a new 2.2 serial in your available serial and under downloads you will have the new Hexagon 2.2 to download. I should mention that if you are a platinum member the cost for it new if you don't own it is 2 dollars. This is good idea just to give them an incentive to continue to fix the problems with this great piece of software. You will also have two serials for Hex 2.2
