Hexagon Updates 2.0 -> 2.1

Hi,

it's long time ago I played with Hexagon. Also I switched to MAC OSX.
Today I tried to install Hexagon on my MacBookPro and get after an update from version 2.0 to 2.0.1 following error message:

Application Launch error:
The application "(null)" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "<Hexagon><Hexagon><wx_Carbon.shlb><>"

Ok, next step - I updated to version 2.1 and get the following error message:

Application Launch error:
The application "(null)" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "<Hexagon><A3DSDKCarbon.shlb><NMTLibCarbon.shlb><> "

Did someone of you know this error message or know what to do?

Thank you in advance for your tipps and help.

kind regrads

Hey Wal,

Do a search on this site or the DAZ. I think I have seen this error before.
I am running on OS X as well. Not quite the same as on a PC. What shame.

Hi Dookie,

thanks for your tip. I tried it at first but ... I get totally lost of DAZ's Websites - couldn't find where I have to search. The only thing I found was in top-menu "find a bug". But this is no bug - so I ask here.

I tried it also an my iMac (intel-based) and there it runs without problems - the only thing it's different is - the iMac uses a ATI graphiccard!

Some more questions:
i) You were talking about differents between Hexagon on Mac and on Windows - that means more or better features/functions for the windows system?
ii) Do you have another tip for me where I have to search on DAZ's websites? (I never used DAZ, I bought Hexagon earlier from Eovia )

This would be really great - thanks in advance!

kind regards
wal

This may be a start.

Of all odd things, have you got your screen set at 32 bit colour? (It can get changed and is important) And you really do need--on Windows--probably better than the minimum specs of everything. Especially the card.

I have that error message too

You need to install V2.0 and launch the program, after that -and nothing happen- install the update, your V2.1 will work fine -at last in my computers work-

Hi sadot,

yes - that was it. Now it looks everything works fine. So it is better to install version 2 and then version 2.1 and not version 2.0.1.

Thanks a lot - I'm happy now and hope tomorrow it will be there again

Kind regards
Wolfgang
