Another Noob question on copying

Well I was copying a spoke nipple, for a cycle wheel using the normal method. (see first jpg) But at my first attempt this happened! (see second jpg) Just curious if anyone has any idea what happened as if repeated may produce an interesting object. Shrugs

you used the command "copy on support" and used the same curve for the input object and the target object...

Well being somewhat thick, I'm not sure whether this is a question or a statement. But yes that is what I did, unlike this one I've just done where I tried to thicken a straight line. I didn't use F1 as I did on the spokes I just lasso'd it and then thickened it. So I guess that's where I went wrong.

It was statement. The Hex dev team already figured people would try this for making array patterns...
