i think before you start to think about texturing, you should go back and study how to build good toplogy. Because this model will be very difficult to unwrap. there are many tutorials on Polyloop that might be more helpful than following the Hex manual...

You need to make some adjustment to the model, maybe divide it in several different objects if you want to keep that type of design that could be a real nightmare for UV

People say I have a face only a mother could love.

If you upload the model we will help you make corrections.

As a traditional sculptor for over 20 years I got many negative remarks for my work.It always made me feel bad at first but it also made me try harder

It's those changes in latitudes,
changes in attitudes nothing remains quite the same.
With all of our running and all of our cunning,
If we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane.

I found out the hard way

You may be 100% right. What happened with the Hexagon DVD?

That is sad with the way Hexagon is treated; I think that could be a good asset if you will keep the work on the Hexagon DVD. I bet that many here will buy it.

Hey Stu,

I still don't understand why DAZ would prevent anybody from making training materials, whether DAZ profits from it directly or not. In the end, more training materials = more Hexagon users = more content for sale. It seems to be a waste to have them tucked away where nobody could learn from them. Maybe it could be turned into a community project? Maybe i'm crazy? Did DAZ actually tell people to not distribute these materials?
