| Stupid question But Im new
Ok when I start working on a project sometimes all of a sudden it wont show me the actual grid of the object ( I hope Im calling it correctly ) I can choose all points and it will show me all the points but no lines connecting them or anything and once I diselect the points I cant see any of the points. I've been trying to do the camera tutorial quite a few times apart from the grid disapearing as Im doing this I have also had to where it freezes so does anyone know how I can bring the Grid back to the object ( the wire frame or whatever its called )

hi des what are your system specs? its called the wireframe either you are deselecting the object in smooth solid mode or more likely you have a hardware issuse, probably graphics card drivers or the card itself. stu

I have a legacy Video Card Im basically on an Inspiron e1405 from dell. and Im not Dislecting it at all it just will show me the wireframe then all of a sudden it stops I can restart hexagon and it will fix itself again ( Im doing the camera tutorial but this has done it for other stuff as well ) even if I save it then reopen it it wont show the wireframe even closing and reopening or rebooting so I dont think its system.

So let me get this straight I have a brand new Dell computer that doesnt meet the requirements of this program. I am able to work stuff but I lose the wireframe of an object and its due to the fact my system doesnt meet the requirements even though it starts out allowing me to see these lines like when I tesselate I see the squares. Has anyone heard of a Non System related thing for that to happen ? Cause I can save and reopen and it will be the same but I can close and start a new one and do a square and when I tesselate or move stuff around I see it again.

If you look at the history, very few have ever had computers/graphic cards up to the requirements to use Hexagon2.1 version as it was advertised. The continuing gripe STILL awaiting the major fix by Daz. |

My computer is a dynosaur and runs Hexagon (truly it slows to a crawl when I used a high count poly) I have a 7 year old Dell. 1.3 Gig pentium III

firstly you dont need to site mail me to tell me to reread a post , i would have done that anyways secondly i was part of the original beta team for hex, i know which are software bugs and which are hardware issuses, i also ran hexagon on a prebuilt system with below specs requirements (not my own machine )and got pretty much the same results as you which is why i asked what your specs were.gaphical errors and system freezing indicates two things, lack of power ie processor and ram and or poor graphics card or chipset. stu
