Paint tool

Hi guys,
first post for me here.
I would like to use Hex for lowpoly projects, my question is when using the paint tool on a texture, let's say on a plane with 1024x1024 px, i don't find any option to save the texture, for example, with a 128x128 tiling (to have my big inizial texture subdivided in 16 pieces). Is there a way to achieve that?....don't tell me photoshop plz...;)

thx in advance

(ah...Hex is really incredible!)

Ha...another thing, .DDS texture support?
