Select the cube, while picking the Align/Snap tool (a small pyramid with two point and an arrow between them), press CTRL (or Command on Mac): it will create a copy of the current selected object.
Then, inside the snap tool, select thepoint1, and then, click on the point 2: you will have a copy of the object on the point 2 based on point 1 position.

For the multiple copy, if you don't set a move between each copy, then, all your three copies are on the same place (and all the copies are in a groop, then, you think you are moving one object and not three !)

Hi Butch,

After selecting the object you want to copy and defining multiply copies, first you have the Option to edit how many copies you want , than hitting Enter there is the option Offset to edit distances in X,Y,Z axes , go with TAB from X to Y or Z , hit ENTER , you have the options Rotate and Scale according to the axes if you want hit ENTER and ...done.

Hope that helps.

Any chance that AMAPI can have a more "classic" layer feel, like you have in Autocad or in Rhino.
Before working or any time during you define layers and its names, colours. Then while working before creating and objects you first define layer on wich the object will be...
Also any chance that selected objects have only highlited isocurves, not that they are all highlited?!
Lots of colors when working with AMAPI, would like to avoid it somehow.
Thanx!

Modeling question now.
Any chance that "loop" edges could be automaticly selected and not clicked one by one?

From Preferences Editor , User Preferences , Misc , you can select maximum Undo Levels (Default is 10). But you have various undo options depending on the command. Even in Dynamic Geometry.

Hope it helps.

You mean Blend or connect 2 curves creating a surfase and then modify it? I think blending most used for connecting surfases.

Yes I could do that with surfaces, but I have curves.
Would blending two surfaces work in poly mode?

You can use Ruled Surface to connect two or more curves. In the tutorial section of Polyloop , there are two nice tutorials from Thomas for connecting either NURBS or polygonal surfases.

?
What do you mean by seting range. You probably meant when I have splines (poly) to set it range and yes then the curve would be divided into number of segments.
Look at the picture. I want to snap at the curve when I have still active ( didint yet confirmed the other point) my other curve.
