| Materials Panel
I "deleted" the Materials Panel on the left side of my Hexagon 2 Demo and now I can't get it back, the Shading domains either. I looked in the "Windows" pull-down menu and both are checked. I have checked and unchecked and restarted the program but still nothing. How do I get it back? Thanks.

hi, yeah i had the same problem, but managed to reset to default and its ok now... it's true that hex. 2 is crashing time to time, but it is still very nice piece of soft, much easier that 3d max, would say... for example the bolean operation...

Yes, I like Hex 2 a lot. I'm costantly getting inspired by it. Some times I start with out any idea of what I want to make with it and end up totally amazed at what I come up with just by trying things. It is easy to convert your ideas and dreams into visual reality with Hex 2. It's been a lot harder with other porgrams. I haven't ever used 3d max but I used to use trueSpace 5.1 a lot. I started with Amapi 2 or 3 and wished features and/or it's layout was in trueSpace. I have waited a long time for Hex 2 (wished there was such a good bit of software). I was waiting for Amapi to become what Hex 2 is. When I started with it I recognized quite a few things. My Hex 2 Demo just expired a day or two ago. I like the program so much I am going to buy it. I got more done in that 30 days than I have in all the rest of the time I have spent with 3DCG programs.

To see a glimps of my work so far go here..... http://forums.polyloop.net/3d-work-p...tml#post113348 . I am on a quest to design cars at the moment. I think it is a fun challenge. I started drawing them now I am box modeling them. If any one has any tips on doing the wheel wells I would like to hear them. It's funny, now when I drive down the road and see an interesting feature on a car that I pass or what ever I see myself making that feature in Hex 2 and the tools I would use to make it (or challenge myself to think of how to make it). What's worse is I work at a Ford factory where they make the Mustang, one of my all time favorite cars. So I see them (and the Mazda 6) all day wishing was home designing them. I remember back to the 2000 "12 Hours of Sebring" race that I was at watching the Audi R8s and Porshes thunder around the track. I bought a calendar of classic cars this year. Am I taking it too far??????? As I was driving to reletives house for Christmas today I thought of an idea for a "creature". If it turns out I will post some images.

Ok, here is the idea I had while on the road today. I call it the "Three Headed Cricket Monster". It's based on a head I made with antenna. I thought I should expand on the antenna. I think it's a bit too symmetrical right now but I just wanted to get the idea "on paper".
