| Box modeling ![]() | I've downloaded that one long time ago. Then I read his comments somewhere that he wanted to update some of the contents which in his view are outmoded. I wonder, for one, if he is still sticking to his view not to ever use procedurals in favor of image textures. Btw, is he a he or a she? |

| proud to be a nurb ![]() | Not sure. It only matters if I'm buying drinks . Yeah, this may be an old thread. Someone posted in on the Modo forums and it just seems there are many people here who ask texturing questions so i figured they might find it useful. I didn't read through it myself really. Just skipped around it for a second or two... I guess if you're working in games or film, procedurals can be a time-gobbler. But i still prefer to use procedurals myself, especially now that texture baking is so common. I like to keep things flexible...shorty |
