Thomas, I'm never quite sure if commercial, shameless self-promotions are ok.

In this particular case: is it ok in this thread of the forum, to share information about promotions? Such as the one for Project Dogwaffle at Daz, Renderosity and on the BMTmicro store?

Or do you have a thread particularly aimed at announcing specials, promos, bundles etc?

I prefer not having commercial stuff on my forum. Having announces of a new products or updates are ok (I'll do it myself with my DVDs, or Brian did with Art of Shaders), but no "Buy NOW, 25% off this month!" ;)
