Image gallery sofrware

Hi , can anyone recommend any free or cheap software for making image galleries?
I am making my website and am looking for software to make image galleries
easy to make

If you already have photoshop you can save money and use that to create quick gallery sites which can then be uploaded to the web.

For Mac users (I realise you are not ) I would always recommend Freeway.
