| travelers ? big babies in air plane ( cintiq, big computers...)
Hello ! I'm new here. Traditional sculptor interested in computer tech. I'm buying the Cintiq 21UX and the carry case, and will have to travel with it to be able to work onsite. Are there people here traveling with such a big baby ? I think it's too big to take it as hand luggage ( and I have already the sony laptop anyway ), and am worry about having it taken care like a football by airport employees ( not all of them are brutes, but we've all had friends having had big problems with luggage broken :/ ) .... Thanks Seb |

Hum.. good question. I think you may contact Wacom directly, they will be able to answer you I think (they are doing tradeshows, etc, then may had the problem. I never let computer and tech stuff to my luggage, just as hand luggage. But I own the 12WX which is easier.

For those interested, I got the info about traveling with a Cintiq 21 UX ( or any other big computer device). You simply have to let the company that you have a very fragile device, and you want them to put it in a special area in the booth. They are used to it, for example with music instruments.
