| Moderator ![]() | I agree, they did a great job. The suiting up phase and development of the armor was done well and I like that he still looked a little unstable and constantly adjusted during flight even towards the end as anyone would. That helped make it look like Tony was actually piloting a suit and not some robot flying around. It's all the little things like that that made it well done. I think one of the keys to it's success as far as comic movies go is that he is covered in a suit. You don't have to have difficult transitions where you have someones actual face while using a superpower and he's not covered in spandex. The spandex makes everything look cheesy and nobody pulls it off well. The other comic crossover that does well is Spiderman, Toby was able to wear the spandex but you don't see his face when he is doing the really crazy flippling through the air stuff so even when you can tell it's a 3d rig it's easier on the eyes. |

| Box modeling ![]() | Yeah, they did such a great job on this one. Man,have you seen the previews for Batman? The new Hulk looks OK too. For some reason the HULK still looks "CG" and doesn't suspend belief (in cinema terms). When you see Narnia or LOTR the CG doesn't get in the way of the story. For some reason I see the HULK and I see CG. heh, and the end of the day who am I give a crit!? I'm happy to make two poly's to join! -Dooki

| Polygurbs ![]() | It was all just hype, but I had a date and it was either that or a chick flick. ![]() Actually, the movie had a lot of missed potential and it was kind of nice seeing all those teenagers die for a change. No one lives in the end and that's the way it should be. ;) |

| proud to be a nurb ![]() | I never have a problem whether the characters live or die. But the way in which they live or die is always the bogus part. I saw that holiest piece of crap War of The Worlds a few months ago, and all I kept thinking to myself was “How the hell do they keep running without food or water?”. Not to mention the lack of people murdering each other. Considering that if everybody around you has not eaten for a week and you have the last candy bar in sight, chances are you will be killed for it. This is life, but it’s never reflected in the movies. Look what happened in New Orleans after the hurricane flooding. Girls were being raped in public and other people just turned their heads not to look. Movies should show the real horror of what would happen if NY was destroyed by a giant robot who forgot to take his Prozac. It’s a lot more scary… And hey, at least you only had to watch Cloverfield. My wife has a taste for 19th century English romance, so imagine the movies which I have to watch!!! I'm so tired of seeing James McAvoy ...shorty |

| Box modeling ![]() | Wow! you're a lucky fella! Actually (and I'm sure I get a response out of this one) my wife used be into action/ scifi stuff.......before we got married! Over the years the change happens, just about the time you notice your finger has swollen and you can't take you ring off anymore. -Dooki

| Vertex ![]() | IRON MAN!!!! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO IM STILL PUMPED UP! i have plans to see it again!!! yes yes yes, cloverfield was extremely cheesy and unbelievable! me and my girl didnt even watch it like a normal movie we just sort of pointed out dumb crap that was going on thru out that garbage worthy movie! who has seen Speed Racer? to be honest,i think the wachowski bros. could've done soooooooooo much better! i mean like everybody knew martial arts for no apparent reason the camera shots didnt translate well on the race scenes so i just sort of sat there wondering exactly who was winning and what was going on! so disappointed(did i mention theres a huge 70's style kung fu action scene where everybody starts flying and attacking eachother then afterwards they talk!!!!!!!!!!-WHO DOES THAT?)
