I've got the Animusic 1 DVD. it's good stuff. they have an interview with the director Wayne Lytle, who talks about the process of making these videos.
the software used is all proprietary the process is backwards from what you would think. they actually build the instruments first, and then make them play. instead of just animating instruments to the music. thats why the timing is so perfect.

go to animusic.com they have several videos in HD format for download...much better than YouTube
