I'd like to recommend.

For all you power users out there that are looking for a more powerful animation package. With better rigging and animating features. I'd like to recommend Project Messiah. Its reasonably priced at $299 and very powerful. Just take a look at the website to see what I mean. It would make an excellent tool to work alongside Carrara. Create terrains, etc..import into Messiah, etc.

Anyway, just thought I'd give it a plug.

I would if they had a Euro distributer. It cost one person an extra £70 just to import it into the UK. Been looking at it for years.

Damn... That is impressive, I tried Wile E Coyote and the demo and had him running in about 10 minutes. Makes you feel sad about Carrara's anim tools, but gives Eovia something to shoot for on C6.

And something us Mac users to hope for in C6, as Project Messiah doesn't acknowledge the existence of any other platform other than Windows.

sigh.

If 5% is so unworthy of attention, why won't anybody give me 5% of their paychecks? <meh>

You're not missing much, from my experience with Messiah:Animate 3, their software is never fully works as advertised and there's always a bug or two to limit you even more - caveat emptor...

I purchased it for their softbody features, which never worked as advertised - in a word, I got burned.

Peruse their discussion boards for a coupla weeks before you purchase - that's my advice.

What was wrong with their softbody? Its a simplified version, and works good as long as you know how to use it.

And I wouldn't trust the message boards to much, their are a few former users that hold a grudge with pmG. Messiah was released and took forever to reach a level of reliability. But the current people that program and run pmG are a different group. No matter what you may feel, the animation capabilities are incredible.
