Betty on the mooch -Anyone got a high res old floorboards tile they wish to share?

I'm surrounded by lots of new wood in my house but nothing faded and worn.
If anyone's willing to share drop me a line.

Best Regards

BWTR -yes but they won't have the warmth of a real world texture.

Maybe I'm wrong.

Hey

Did you check Mayang or Accustudio ?

Not seamless, but some work in photoshop or similar app can make wonders on some of these, I use them all the time.

I wish I had some of my own to share, but that is all I can come up with... For what purpose U need it ?

I'm going to local Zoo in a few days and they have a lots of worn-out wood stuff, If I spot something useful I'll let you know ! Cheers

LoneGunman - many thanks for those links. Some excellant textures there. I'll try and cobble togetrher a floor texture from some of these.

I needed the texture for an old worn deck of a ship so if you do see something useful that would be grand.

Makes me think it would be good to have a texture repository here at the forum.

Take care and thanks for your help.

Here's an early start on the kind of feel I'm after - this jpg's not great but I want the end result to be more painterly than pure photographic.
Feel free all to use it as a basis for your own work.

I've got some old decking that I use. Might be a little too rough though. Here's some TIFFs if you want to check it out.

ewinemiller - your a star.

The texture looks great and a much higher res than I could find on the web.
Using yours to blend with the one I've posted above should be enough to get the result I'm after.

Many thanks indeed.

Many thanks indeed.

One of the textures you included was hi rez enough to achieve what I'm looking to achieve. They also allowed me to remove extreme patterning which was great.

Here they are to share.

ewinemiller - here's another variation on the great texture you posted again stretching out to lessen the effects of patterning when covering a larger area.

Many thanks.
