| Vertex ![]() | [Others]Chromadepth Chromadepth is a 3D stereo viewing technology for anything in 2D that is properly color-coded. That includes monitor displays. I am very interested in one day being able to work in realtime stereo 3D inside a 3D app. There are a number of options, the best I know of so far being SpatialView's plugin for Cinema 4D. C4D, an autostereoscopic LCD monitor and the plugin however are way beyond my means. You're talking thousands. Ths Chromadepth thing uses simple cardboard prism glasses but the image must show red for "nearest" along the Z axis, and blue for "farthest away", with the rest of the spectrum in between. I am looking for someone who has written a plugin to color-code the editing viewport of a 3D app for Chromadepth viewing. Here's a link to Chromatek with screenshots. http://www.chromatek.com/Image_Galle.../classics.html I am wondering if Amapi 7.5 would be a good candidate because of its depth cueing. BTW, if anyone has a screenshot of what Amapi depth cueing looks like, please post. |
