I tried some renders of a glass bowl thingy as tests. C6 versus modo. Render times were more in C6 and I couldn't get C6 Pro to look as good as the modo ones.

For me, the Carrara renders have a nice "illustration" quality about them. I would kill to get hold of modo if I could afford it, because the renders make my mouth water, but hey. In my line of work an illustrative feel is often an advantage, nice but not too real... so I just have to sit on it. No worries here!

I agree with you there and I will probably use C6 for some stuff (no clouds or trees in modo )
