| Vertex | [Carrara]Mapping vector images? Hi, I'm a newbie and maybe this is a stupid question: I need to map a world map as vector image to a sphere and don't know how it works (if it works)? - I want to use vectors, because I need a very wide zoom range in my animation later: Close to small countries and far away to see the whole earth. Is this possible in Carrara6 Pro and if not are there any workarounds? I tried using big pixel-images (more than 4000px of size) but I can see the pixels if zooming close. Best and thanks Christoph ...sorry for my German English! ;-) |

| Rhymes with Hell. ![]() | I've done that the other week at work, pan zoom from space to a street: - earth from space - earth (clouds) - country - city - block - street I create a material for each step and blend them while animate (full 3D) You can also do that in 2D, if you have a good video editor.
