3d Brush update

3d-brush has had a new release, and it seems to fix many of the issues I've been having. I know there has been discussion on these forums about 3d painting (or the lack of it) in lower priced 3d software. If like me Hex didn't work out, or you didn't like Tattoo, I'd seriously give this a look.

It's also got a shallow learning curve, so no worries there. If you need help with some of it I'm happy to help you out in this thread.

It does export normal maps that you can use in the game engines.
It is an awesome app.
A question: there is a time limit of it is endless just the 1.72?

As far as I can tell the betas aren't time limited. There's supposed to be paid version when the program is finished, hopefully it won't cost too much.

The current build is now 1.81, and it makes the app load much faster.

What about blacksmith 3d 3.0 painter

Hi I also have Hexagon and am not satisfied with its paint properties. What do people think of blacksmith 3d 3.0 painter? I am looking for a reasonably priced 3d paint program that doesnt require me using a line of credit to purchase. http://www.blacksmith3d.com
