I always render with Carrara, what else is around there that can render also? Or better said is there anywhere around a program that is only dedicated to rendering?

Lots.
Render engines abound. Free and not free.
On the non-free, there is for example Maxwell Render, and Fryrender.
On the free, there is yafray and kerkithea.

However, having native carrara file support? Not many I suppose..
