I need it for static, background meshes.
Not for rigging and animating.

In order to get a reasonably decent looking surface, you must use very high-poly mesh
What is the number of poligons of the shark, for istance?

don't know. Wibble made the shark image. But i it looks to be a few thousand polygons. Very heavy for games... You could probably make a better shark by poly modeling with just 150-200 polygons...

I ask them to send a pair of models.
Hope that they 'll give me a pair of meshes so I can test them.

Nope, they said that I have to test the rhino model in the subdirectory.
So I did..
An observation...there is not a "load model " options in the menu or what?
I cannot load a model and modify it with the program , unless it is in the proprietary format.

I can't think of any blob modelers that use imported meshes...

Anyway I know a lot of potential costumers that do no trust the company. The demo is way to limited. They think that it is just..a demo ..not a demo of a functional software.
The price is small, it is truth but they , me among them, can want to risk to waste the money and get back..a pre alpha or nothing.

well, i liked the "blob" concept very much so i wrote a set of Nurbs blob creation tools for Rhino 4. So i won't be buying Archipelis although i still think there is a future in this type of mesh modeling...
