MarbleCLAY free 3D modeler
Here is free polygonal modeler it can import and export 7 or more formats
3ds, obj, lwo and more http://homepage3.nifty.com/escargot/MCLFrm.html
You need to register by mail to save model up 1000 polygons, but it is all free, dont worry
