Open Source After Effects - Polyloop

Back in 3d World magazine (issue 80), they mentioned a bunch of open sourced options out there. One of them was called Jahshaka. I was wondering if anyone has used it, and had any opinion of it. It looks quite good www.jahshaka.org. I hear it resembles Shake, and has video and sound editing and effects. It seems to use layers on video, and looks pretty interesting.
