No, I used some hairs available at daz (you can see credits under each pic) I'm not skilled enough to model the hair

...The girl on the gallery is Rinako ...my own model (each Poser user should have one I guess) ...I used a body texture available on a freebies site and an other texture for the eyes also available as free. I'm using Aiko with morphs (not LE) then I used lots of morphs to create the face and added one for the nose (using a magnet)

I agree, we all should have our own model. Mine is Victoria 3, who begat Alyssa, whom I named Fireosity

I use alot of Quarker's stuff like Grace Lion Hair..I think they are easy to work with.

I am wondering now also..if it can be possible to create dynamic clothes in Hex

okay - I'm back, and let's pretend that I really don't know what I'm doing, though I've read the manual all the way through, so can pretty much follow a step-by-step tutorial. Now I just finished pg 8, assigning nw materials to the parts and locking it, and I'm confronted with a model of a bathing suit on page 9. I see white lines on the suit, which I think are polylines? How do I create this shape? The first 8 pages creates a color guide - do I cut the swimsuit from the other figure? Is there some othr tutorial that will lead me to this?

Thanks for the reply folks. So I guess it is cut from the other by selecting and delecting.. Then furthing tweaking, shaping and smoothing...

Hi and sorry for not replying earlier

First, you have to know that this tutorial only shows the method to conform clothes, I didn't include any modeling method.

On the page 9, the seams on the swimsuit are polylines extracted from the swimsuit (curve extraction tool), and then I applied a thickness (thickness tool).

There are lots of tutorial to model stuffs with Hexagon here, or at DAZ or PoserPros, the methods aren't that different if you want to model clothes for Poser

Anyway, I created a little tutorial on how to model a dress easily for aiko (I did this before creating the tutorial of this topic, if I remember well ), you can find it here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=U7LRFJ4O

I hope it helps you

Hi Kagi
Thanks for replying. I wasn't singling you out, I hope you know. I'm in this 3d modeling world all by myself, on my own with no one to talk to except by way of forums, so was feeling the aloneness.

Since starting your tut, I did find one at poserpros that put many things into perspective. funny, but i used your technique to set up the mannekins.
