Mountain Bike Tutorial Hexagon 2

A very good tutorial done by BluesHexagon. I saw this posted on Poserpros or Artzone. Check it out. It is a step-by-step Mountain Bike.

http://www.blueshexagon.brandycrest....ainBike/Wheel/

Download all three parts and put them in the same folder. Then double-click the .exe file.

Say thanks to the author if you like it!

Actually BluesHexagon is just the subdomain where the tutorial files are located.

Tez is the author of the the tutorial.

Right well il get on to that soon on how to box model a full character the simple way using hexagon 2.1. Just like the bike wheel il break it down into sellectable stages.

As HeavyHanded said, download all three parts and put them in the same folder. Then double-click the .exe. The file named done.part1.exe will automaticly extract part 2 and 3 of the rar files.

Part 2 of the bike tutorial can be found at this link.

Just to make sure all is done correct il add a more detailed so skip areas that you have done already.

1) Download all 3 parts.
2) Only 1 part should be opened, the one named "done.part1.exe"
3) Make sure all 3 files are located in the same folder before executing the file "done.part1.exe"

You do not need to open part 2 and 3 rar files. When executing done.part1.exe the remaining two rar files automaticly extract the files.

After the files have extracted you should have 3 files in total.

tscc.exe
done.html
done_media

At this point, all you have to do is first install the codec to view the video. This codec is the tscc.exe file. After that just open the file "done.html."

When you open that html file it should load up the video with a side menu to sellect the different parts of that tutorial. That whole video tutorial is Part 1 which just covers just the making of the wheels.

Part 2 of the tutorial series is also avalible which covers making the chain ring and crank arms.

Part 3 will cover making the pedels.

Part 4 will be making the swing arm and frame.

More to come after that.

Im going to make a dedicated thred in the correct place in this forum so everyone can access all the parts from one place.

At this time only 2 parts are done. There didnt seem a great deal of interest so I didnt continue for a while. The Idear behind these video tutorials is not just to make the bike, but to get to use the many avalible tools hexagon can offer, this way your see how many methods can achive the same result.

For the parts from 3 onwards I will make the same as before, but will keep them even shorter rather than repeat recording the usage of the same tools. If I can get more done in a shorter time there will be less parts to this series, this means I dont know how many more it will take to finnish the tutorials, but rest asured the new videos will be as direct and swift as posible without missing any details.

Iv been making the videos with no pre planning, each part is recorded on the fly with no over dub voice, this means im having to think more on the spot which can make the video longer.

The next videos will be pre planned as im now ahead of the next 2 stages.
Tomorrow if all goes to plan will be the finnishing of Part 3.

Does Daniel Ripley have a series of these kinds of tutorials for Hexagon 2.1?
I'd be interested in looking at more of these.
