Simple, not done by an expert, but will get you going... Southern American English narration, with some writing (English) too.... These require QuickTime version 7 Right-click and save target as http://www.nateowens.com/3D/ToonHead/ToonHead1.mov 14.8mb http://www.nateowens.com/3D/ToonHead/ToonHead2.mov 9.75mb http://www.nateowens.com/3D/ToonHead/ToonHead3.mov 9.27mb http://www.nateowens.com/3D/ToonHead/ToonHead4.mov 10.74mb Bob from Zog... real basic... written and voice over too. Hi Nate, I'm fairly new to Hex 2.1 & have been following your excellent Bob Zog video tut. When I create a sphere , the no. of points are 114, edges 240 & faces 128. After clicking '+', I get points 182, edges 380 & faces 200, as you have. However, after applying 2 levels of smoothing, they go up to points 3042, edges 6080 & faces 3040. Your video shows them all staying the original numbers. Am I doing something wrong? |

Will need to check this out and get back to you. Been a while since I did this so I will have to re-create the steps to see what you are referring to. Sorry for the delay, and it may take a while as I am up to my ears in alligators (busy! ) and I have an upcoming trip to China on behalf of client, so.... when I can, I will....

Hi Nate, (Burpee, no Full DG) Thanks for your reply. I have since found that as soon as I click on "select faces", as opposed to "select object", the no. of edges etc revert back to those shown in your tutorial.

After this, you should go look at the demos and tuts that Thomas did for Hexagon and the new ones he is doing for Amapi (the process can be applied in Hexagon also). Thomas is an awesome modeler and knows the software inside-out since he built it and is now on the Amapi team.
