| Securityman ! ![]() | Conform a 3D character to a simple surface I have created a small and simple tutorial in order to show how to "conform" a 3D character taken from a Celtic font to a cylinder. The tutorial can be downloaded here (2.50 Mb zipped Quicktime file). If you want to "conform" an object to a sphere (or a vase) this is very simple ... take a look at this tutorial and if someone need more info ... feel free to ask! If someone want to download also the Celtic font it can be found here (windows only ... sorry ... ).Have a nice modeling! NOTE: Quicktime 7 or superior is required to see the video!

| Securityman ! ![]() | Ok this trick is fun, but is necessary to pay attention using it because inserting text increases notably the number of polygons in a scene! I have published this tutorial because someone has asked me how I have realized the reliefs on the vase enclosed here!

| In the blooming heather ![]() | danilo, is there any way you could make a video example that can be viewed in a previous version to QT7 ? Or perhaps just a quick verbal explanation of your technique? I ask because I have QT6 professional and do nnot wish to pay an upgrade fee. Regards |
