Step 2 says to select the "Boundary" tool. It even has a picture of the icon. I can't find it anywhere. I looked for it in the manual and found this description with a picture of the same icon as in the tutorial, "In the Selection Menu, or in the Contextual menu, then through the advanced selection submenu, select Boundary." I do not have any submenus in my selection menu.
Is this a version issue (I have 2.1 for PC), or a French toCynthia English translation issue, or am I completely misunderstanding something? It seems like a simple enough tutorial. I can't believe that I can't get it.

I had the same problem. It looks to me like they changed the interface to Hexagon 2 and the manual is still using the version 1 images. This really p***** me off and shows a lack of attention to detail by the developers. I can't find the icons that are in the manual either. After searching for Boundary several places in the manual I finally figured it out.
What you have to do is use the '
B' key. Alternately,
right-click on the face you selected and from the context menu go to the bottom and select
Advanced selection > then select
Convert faces borders to edges B. I guess B stands for "Boundary".

In all fairness to Thomas the tutorial is for Hexagon 1.2 and it's not his fault that 2.0 has a different interface. It would be nice, however, if the Hexagon 2 User's Manual was at least accurate.
