The message that comes up is

C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Digital_Camera_Modeling_Grendel.zip: Unexpected end of archive

Then if I try to extract it to a folder I get this

C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Digital_Camera_Modeling_Grendel.zip: The archive is corrupt

If I use one of two ftp programs, it tries three times to connect but then aborts. It is only the camera tutorial I am having trouble accessing

You're using Internet Explorer as your browser, I bet.
Ok. I suggest you try WinRAR to unzip the file. If that doesn't help, switch to Firefox, you will never look back after that

An FTP program shouldn't help, the link refers to an HTTP location.

Hi,

I had exactly the same problem with this file only. The only way I could download it was with free download manager (thanks for the tip, stabby!). You have to copy & paste in the http address. A download manager which only handles ftp is no use.

I tried it again with both browsers.
With IE7 I have the same problem.
With Firefox, everything goes well.

I've already seen this before : IE corrupts files with a "gzip" content (It might be something with the interoperability between Apache and IE, especially when the mod_deflate module is running).

Firefox certainly seems a lot faster than IE

Yeap, great, some how IE sometimes acts stupid, here at work, I cgot the same problem you had trying to download the file from 3 different computers, I tried a 4th one and voila!!! it works, I guess Windows XP still has some bugs that need to be worked out.

Do the sortcut ALT+O,O,S (don't release the ALT key in fact) then Enter twice and F5
or tools > options > Suppress the files (or similar, I'm in french) > OK > OK > refresh
