Hi,
I don't think you are dumb. I had the same problem. If you draw a cube primitive, you get the tessellation input box in 'properties'. You will then see the tessellation input box, directly underneath 'freeze' - do not click on the object, otherwise the option disappears!

Well, I'm new to Hexagon, but I think that you moved too fast.
There's no need to go to the tesselate tool.

Draw your cube (origin -> click ; size -> click).
Don't move it, look directly in your properties tab. The lower end should display the manipulator properties with the tesselate input field.

HTH

Hi,
This took me a while to cotton on to as well. The attached pic shows what you are looking for - as Camelo said, it will disappear if you do anything after you make the basic two clicks to create the cube. Make sure the bottom of the properties panel isn't covered up by the panel below - that's what caught me out originally

Good luck!

The one of the universal manipulator ? Clicking and dragging on one arrow use the translator function, as described in the hex manual in page 40... But you've read the documentation, don't you ?

Check for firewall, I had the same problem and was the firewall that didn't let me download the file.

It downloads with no problems from here.
Could you describe the problem precisely (error message, etc...) ?
