Vladimir, is that you? Well thank you to give us all those free tutorials, I've learned a lot about Vue's functions ![]() About modelling in Hexagon, just one little thing : why do you validate after extrusion from curves, then next go back to vertex modeling menu and choose the "close object" tool. You can do it before : when you've clicked on the curves, note the little white circles on top and base of your model : click on them and...it's closed, then you can validate |

Hexagon is not dead, it does not get attention it should. And now with Truespace free it's even harder. But i believe hexagon is nice inexpensive (i paid $2) lightweight modeler, that have it's space. Daz integrating it with there other applications, like Daz Studio, to provide set of tool. In last update it's include second life modeling tools, and Hexagon-Daz Studio bridge. I am using Maya, Lightwave and now XSI, but i think Hexagon it is good complimentary tool for Vue software (and I am big fan of Vue). To create tutorials it was moslty share my knowledge with other users. No I don't work for Daz, links are affiliate program, help me to offset cost of traffic on website. Geekatplay my site and it is make sence for me to keep all tutorial at one place. I hope sharing knowledge will make people more creative and prompt to share there own work. |

I bought a new Mac Powerbook 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB of ram. When I open Hexagon I get this message. OpenGL 1.4 not supported. This may produce unpredictable results. I have been using Amapi7.5, not on this computer though, so I kind of know what I am doing with Hexagon. Hexagon just won't work right. Is this OpenGL 1.4 the reason? |
