| Gallery Rules Français plus bas English: Please read carefully the following rules of the Polyloop gallery: - Only registred users can submit their works in the Gallery. If you are not a registered user, feel free to do it here!
- The posted images are moderated. Only the moderators and administrators accept or not the image, based on various critera, listed on the following rules.
- Post the best creation you can, which means, try to finish your image, dont post work in progress, try to add a background (avoid black background...)
- No minimal skills are requested. Polyloop.net is for beginners or advanced users. No discriminations about the users skills.
- Avoid as much as possible pre-made content. This point is -very- important. Polyloop.net (and Amapi.net & Eovia3D.net before) have a long history of 3D creation. It doesn't mean that it's forbidden, because not everybody can create a full character for example. But images which only include pre-made content and which was only rendered in an external software will be rejected.
This is an example of allowed pre-made (nudity) content: This image include a character which wasn't modeled by the user, but the environement, the light, the point of view where well made.
This is an example of not allowed pre-made content (sorry for the author, you can also check the top 100 view here, none of these image will be allowed): this is only an assembly of pre-made content. Even if it can be concidered as an art image, we, at Polyloop.net, are not looking for this kind of creation. We hope that you will understand that point. - Nudity is allowed, but no porn, child nudity and extra violence creations. Please, add [nudity] on your image title.
- Test and work in progress are not allowed. Please, use the WIP / finished works section of the forum for these kind of images.
- Wireframe/wireshaded images are allowed. For most users, a nice mesh is a kind of piece of art. By the way, post full models, not work in progress (see above)
- Please don't post images that are too large (1200x1200 maximum), nor too small (not below 600x600 if possible) and especially, take care of their file size! Use a JPG compression for a maximum of 200 Kb.
- You can also post your films in the gallery, but please be careful on the files size.
- Please ensure that you have all the rights necessary to publish your image or credit the original authors and SIGN your images. Although your rights are clearly clarified in the Eovia3D.net gallery, this will help you avoid seeing your images reproduced without your permission.
