@Brian=Ooo, didn't see this. Thanks.
@NAte= I forgot to mention that it does come with videos showing you how to use each tool. But it only ships with the one "in use" tut (wine glass).

OK.!

In Rhino, I arrayed big and small circles along a curved center line...

Lofted those arrayed circles to get my corregated hose...

Hi Nate,

Have you used T-Splines with Rhino ... if so do they help with your work?

I think ViaCAD has been around for ten years or so.

I'm actually surprised too see it is still around, though it probably has bounced from one vendor to another during that period. It was a good application at the time and probably still is, though I haven't tried it in its laterst version. It was in/is in a market that saturated with CAD apps in the low to medium price range (like TurboCAD)

It's comparable to VectorWorks, which also runs on PC and Mac platforms. Even selling for around $200-$300 when it first came out, ViaCAD was a pretty good deal by comparison. Selling at under $100 hopefully won't prevent it from getting further significant development.

I took a brief look a while back. It has probably been updated since, but I never got to get a good try at it. Maybe after the first of the year I will have opportunity to look at all the tools I have collected and see which ones fit my particular workflow and budget.

Thanks for the info about ViaCad...
