| proud to be a nurb ![]() | [Rhino]Rhino Cloth Simulation Has anybody seen this Cloth Simulation on the Rhino wiki page? I remember it was posted last year, and was just brought up again in a recent conversation. Hopefully it will be a future tool in Rhino ? ![]() http://en.wiki.mcneel.com/default.as...imulation.html shorty |

| Boolean ![]() | I have asked David Rutten about updates on this subject without much to report. David stated that he has not worked on it since he posted his notes at a conference earlier in the year. His current work duties do not allow him the time to spend on this product, so he hoped that someone else would lead the charge to complete this product. Unfortunately I lost my programmer to another company, so I cannot spend any resources on this even though I think it has a lot of applications to many industries. If anyone else is interested, possibly we can pool resources. Vince |

| Boolean ![]() | Your right, he is pretty amazing. I thought that the cloth utilities could be used to generate a fast car surface over a set of 100 MM body lines. We normally create the body line sections to establish the basic shape before moving to the Class A surface. If we could drape a cloth over the sections, then start to push and pull the cloth surface into Class A, we could save a few days on our deliverables to our customers. |
